404 Can't find component when internal name of table is "controller"

I made a table called #__mycomponent_controllers (where "controllers" has nothing to do with Joomla! MVC controllers, i just want to store a list of devices I call controllers). When trying to open the table in Joomla! (Joomla Administrator -> Components -> My Component -> Controllers) i got the error message 404 Can't find component.

It seems to be a problem occurring when the internal name for the table is set to "controllers" (plural) and/or "controller" (singular). After setting those to something different it worked.

If the word controllers/controller in the internal name is causing problems it should display an error message in Component Creator for those words.
