Component support for third-party plugins?

This is also desirable for the native Joomla "loadposition" content plugin.

I would like to implement this (or any) plugin into custom components built on Component-Creator, perhaps it's just a library thing (hard to find in J4 docs). Just leaving this here also as a historical note to refer back to.
