One item which I would find extremely useful is the ability within a component to create a new user based on the information submitted to the component. Ideally this would offer the following features:
- Ability to select (within the component config) the usergroup to which the new user is assigned
- Ability to automatically generate and assign a password
Joomla should then do the rest in terms of notifying the new user of their login details.
